Voucher for Startups: elimination of the green criterion promises to make the programme more inclusive

IAPMEI and Startup Portugal have launched the new Notice of the Vouchers for Startups - New digital and technological products programme, which will support projects in digital areas, to the tune of 30,000 euros per beneficiary.
The notice includes an important change: the elimination of the mandatory criterion related to the green component, making the programme more inclusive and accessible to a greater number of startups.
As noted, the aim of the programme remains the same: ‘to foster the development of new digital products and services, promoting innovation and the competitiveness of Portuguese startups’.
Applications will be assessed on the basis of the viability and impact of the projects submitted, ensuring that funds are directed towards initiatives with high growth potential. All projects must also be completed by 31 December 2025.
The application period runs from 17 March to 14 April and interested startups should submit their proposals via the official platform.
