InvestBraga and Altice Portugal renew commitment to culture and entrepreneurship in Braga
Today, November 17th, took place the ceremony to renew the protocol between InvestBraga and Altice Portugal.
After having assumed, in 2018, the naming rights of Forum Braga, the largest performance hall in the north of the country, the two entities renew this technological partnership that combines culture with technology and innovation. Altice Forum Braga gains new features with the renewal of this partnership and the City gains a new commitment to the leading company in the communications sector in Portugal.
Alongside the connection to culture, and maintaining its commitment to an innovation model open to the outside world, through partnerships with technology hubs, startups and academia, the collaboration between InvestBraga and Altice Portugal translates into a new level of collaboration in entrepreneurship and innovation.
In order to take the best of Portuguese technology from Portugal to the world, Startup Braga and Altice Portugal established a technological partnership by signing a protocol to develop innovative and entrepreneurial projects, enrich existing solutions and create a portfolio of disruptive products and services. Both entities have contributed to the affirmation of the national entrepreneurial ecosystem that is now recognized worldwide.
In addition to strengthening the necessary infrastructure to ensure and improve the working conditions of incubated projects, Startup Braga will have the specialized support of Altice Portugal's teams in identifying the appropriate solutions to the growth needs of this reference hub in the national ecosystem.
By establishing these commitments, Altice Portugal seeks to ensure extended research capacity, anticipate technological risks and identify and integrate talent.
The event was attended by Ricardo Rio, Mayor of Braga and InvestBraga, Alexandre Fonseca, CEO of Altice Portugal, and Carlos Silva, Board Member of InvestBraga.
