Open: Applications for Startup Braga incubation program
Applications are open for the Startup Braga incubation programme, the InvestBraga innovation hub. Interested projects may apply from December 5th.
Operating in areas as diverse as the digital economy, nanotechnology and technologies for health, Startup Braga is looking for projects with high entrepreneurial potential in international markets, which intend to settle in the hub of innovation.
For Alexandre Mendes, of Startup Braga, "the incubation program is, by definition, a format in which we intend to host startups and help them to grow as quickly as possible. Ideally, they can go through the programme, benefit from our support and mentoring, take advantage of the network of companies and specialists, introduce themselves to investors and clients and have access to offices that allow these teams to leverage their business to make the leap".
Designed to support the development of technology-based companies with international ambition, the Startup Braga incubation ensures access to the network of entrepreneurs, startups and scaleups, mentors and specialists from various industries in the universe of the incubator, as well as services and products provided by partners and moments of continuous training to support business growth.
Nutrium, led by André Santos, is one of the many successful cases of the Startup Braga incubation program. The company of technologies for health, born four years ago, began to take its first steps with four people and today has more than 15 in its staff.
Aware of the importance of the support of the innovation hub, André Santos guarantees that "Startup Braga is the protagonist of several pages of our history. They won and celebrated with us the creation of the company, the first investment, customers, hiring and helped us to overcome all the difficulties encountered. We hope to continue growing together".
Entrepreneurs interested in applying for the Startup Braga incubation programme can apply here.
Remember that Startup Braga offers three types of programs to support entrepreneurs. In addition to physical and virtual incubation, the hub bets on pre-acceleration of business ideas and acceleration of startups.
With 135 startups in its network, Startup Braga directly supported, through the incubation programme, about 50 startups.
