What is Startup Point?
A programme designed by Startup Braga, in partnership with Liftoff - Entrepreneurship Hub and START POINT of the Academic Association of the University of Minho (AAUMinho), to help you:
- better understand the problem you're solving,
- validate and define the business model, through a series of immersive bootcamps concentrated in a short period of time.
By the end, you should have a clear definition of who your potential customer is and the basic characteristics your product should have.
Who is it for?
We're looking for entrepreneurs with undefined product ideas and no customers.
The programme is open to all teams with innovative and technological projects, preferably in one of the following Startup Braga verticals: Digital Economy, Health Technologies, Biotechnology, Nanotechnology and Sustainability.
Students from Portuguese higher education, public or private, and the entire community with an entrepreneurial spirit, ideas, motivation, creativity and/or capacity for initiative can take part in this programme. However, UMinho students will be prioritised for places if the registration limit is exceeded.

How to take part?
Participation is subject to selection, requiring the submission of an application via an online form. After submission, the application will be carefully evaluated by the Startup Braga and AAUMinho team. The shortlisted projects will be contacted to arrange a brief interview. ↓
